FAQ

Pricing questions

Does it cost anything to book on Pipo?

No. Booking, browsing and messaging are free for customers. You pay the provider's price after the job is done.

What does Pipo charge providers?

8% of a completed service and 5% of an errand fee, never more than ₦50,000 on one booking. There are no sign-up, listing or monthly fees.

How is that different from other apps?

Many booking and ride apps take 20 to 25% of every job. On a ₦20,000 job, Pipo's 8% leaves the provider ₦18,400, where a 20% fee would leave ₦16,000.

What about card fees?

Card and bank payments go through Paystack, which charges a processing fee. Providers cover 90% of it and Pipo covers 10%.

What happens with cash jobs?

The customer pays the provider in cash and the provider records it in the app. Pipo's fee on that job is taken from the provider's next payout.

On errands, does Pipo take a cut of what I buy?

No. Pipo only handles the errand fee. The cost of the items is paid directly, to the shop or the runner, and never passes through Pipo.
